Email customisation options for emails sent to Customers from Pinch.

What options are available to customise the emails Pinch sends to my customers?

Email customisations are available under the Emails tab in the Account settings section of the portal. Below are some details able the specific emails that can be customised. 

Pre-Approval Request

This email is sent to your customers when they are requested to sign up for a Pre-Approval.

The main body content of this email can be customised completely on this email, default content for this email is provided that you can edit or replace as you wish. (This will be placed in the below screenshot where it says [[CustomMessage]])

Your logo and a CTA button are also included on the email so the customer can see the email was sent on your behalf and they always have the action.

Pre-Approval Confirmation

Sent to your customers once they have successfully signed up for a Pre-Approval.

The main body content of this email can be customised completely on this email, default content for this email is provided that you can edit or replace as you wish. (This will be placed in the below screenshot where it says [[CustomMessage]])

Your logo and a CTA button are also included on the email so the customer can see the email was sent on your behalf and they always have the action.

Dishonoured Payment Notification

Sent to your customers when one of their payments is dishonoured.

This email includes the text from the below screenshot with some dynamic data inserted as well as a Custom message at the bottom.

  • [[ReAttemptMessage]] - If reattempt settings are enabled this will inform the customer when the next attempted payment will occur.
  • [[CustomMessage]] - An additional custom message of your choosing (set via the Account Settings page)

Fatal Dishonour Notification

Sent to your customers when a fatal dishonour occurs cancelling their Pre-Approval.

This email includes the text from the below screenshot with some dynamic data inserted as well as a Custom message at the bottom.

  • [[CustomMessage]] - An additional custom message of your choosing (set via the Account Settings page)

Customer Portal Invitation

Sent to your customers when they are requested to sign up to the Customer Portal.

Invoice Issued

Sent to your customers when an invoice is issued to them. Don't want these emails enabled? Find out how to turn them off.

The Invoice details section will always be shown on the email, this includes the invoice number, amount and due date.
