Have you seen Pinch Payments on your bank statement?

If you have seen Pinch, Pinch Payments Melbourne, Zootive Pty Ltd or PINCHAU** on your bank statement and you are not sure what the payment relates to, read on!

Pinch processes payments on behalf of other businesses.

If you have ever had an accountant handle your taxes, had your pool cleaned, hired someone to fix your laptop, or signed up for a beer subscription, without even knowing it you may have used Pinch to pay for these services.

Pinch helps businesses, large and small, get their invoices paid. This is commonly done via two methods -via our ‘pay now’ page or signing up for pre-approval.

Pay Now

Let’s say you hired a digital marketing company to help with your latest campaign and after the work is completed, they send you an invoice for payment. You would have something like this and not even noticed that it was powered by Pinch.

Splatt Marketing will have their invoice details listed here, you would select your method of payment (credit card or bank account) and enter the appropriate details to pay the invoice. Done and paid for via the Pinch Payments system.

Pre-approval

You may have also signed up to pre-approval with your company for works they complete on a regular basis, regular invoices, or a payment plan. For example, you might have signed up for an education program which charges a fee on a monthly basis. Instead of having to remember to pay an invoice each time, you would have been sent a pre-approval form.

The form looks something like this where you securely enter your payment details and approve for the business to automatically debit you when an invoice is due. You are always notified when these invoices are sent, due, and paid for via your chosen method.

Pre-approval can be a real lifesaver when you forget you have to pay for something but it also means you may forget that your business is powered by Pinch!

American Express (AMEX) cardholders, more so than Visa or Mastercard, may see Pinch Payments Melbourne instead of the actual name of the business who created the charge on a bank statement.

Remember! A statement won’t tell the full story of your payment. So if you see Pinch Payments, it is always best to first check online or via your banking app for the description which can contain further information or contact us at support@getpinch.com.au We are more than happy to help you identify the payment.
