Removing information for security purposes

Information about what we do with data and how to request it be removed

If you are a customer/payer who wants your data removed from Pinch, please contact your supplier of service first as Pinch data usually syncs from their accounting systems and us removing it does not necessarily mean it won't sync back. 

If you fail to get anywhere with that email hello@getpinch.com.au or complete the form found here and we can help facilitate this. Please ensure you provide evidence that you attempted to contact your merchant supplier in your correspondence.

If you are a merchant who wishes to have your account deleted entirely you may follow the above steps to make this request.

Please note that Pinch does not store any payment data locally and instead uses Microsoft's Australian datacenters in Melbourne and Sydney. To carry out a complete removal of data can take some time and you will need to be patient to ensure this is carried out. Please note that these data center's may use international datacenters for backup and continuinity purposes but that is outside of our control.
