Xero: How do I configure my bank account and branding themes?

When you connect Pinch to Xero, we need to know a couple of important things before taking payments and making your life easier.

They are:

- Which invoice templates should we display our pay now page on?

- Which bank account in Xero should we help you reconcile? Put another way, which bank account in Xero do you get paid into?

Invoice Templates

Invoice templates are called branding themes in Xero, and you may have just 1 (standard) or you might have created a whole bunch for your business. We just need to know which one(s) you'd like to add Pinch as the payment option for.

You can apply us to all, some or none of your branding themes. After you have decided, click the next button (just off screen in the bottom right on the screenshot below).

Xero Bank Account

Now for the juicy bit. When you signed up to Pinch, you entered a BSB and account number that corresponds to the bank account you want us to pay into. For security reasons, Xero doesn't share with us those BSB and account numbers so instead we show you the name of all the bank accounts in Xero. It's important here to select the bank account that corresponds to the BSB and account number you entered. If you don't do this, you won't see our magic reconciliation working correctly. T

Your bank accounts will show the ones that appear on your Xero dashboard. Ensure you have selected the right option.

Xero Revenue Account

Pinch has the ability to push invoices into Xero when you use our subscription and payment plan feature. If you use this feature, we'll use the revenue account selected when we create invoices. If you aren't planning to use this feature you can use the default one selected

Logo

Upload your company logo so when someone clicks on an invoice issued from Xero they will see your branding on our payment page.
