Important Info For QuickBooks Users
If you are a QuickBooks user looking for a seamless way to manage payments, Pinch is here to help. With limited Direct Debit providers available in Australia that support QuickBooks integration, Pinch is your solution that keeps everything connected and automated.
Why Pinch is built for QuickBooks users
Pinch integrates with QuickBooks Online so you can keep all your payments and invoices in one place. By using Pinch you can:
-
Collect payments automatically via direct debit or credit card.
-
Give customers flexible ways to pay, including ad-hoc invoices and pre-approvals.
-
Save time by reconciling payments automatically in QuickBooks.
-
Offer a customer portal where your clients can manage their payment details and view invoices.
How invoicing works with Pinch
To unlock all of Pinch’s features, including direct debit and credit card payments on your QuickBooks invoices, Pinch will send your invoices to customers on your behalf. This setup is quick and ensures every invoice includes a secure payment link.
Here’s what this means in practice:
-
When you approve an invoice in QuickBooks, Pinch will automatically email it to your customer with a payment option included.
-
Customers can pay instantly or set up their details for ongoing automatic payments.
-
Pre-approvals are auto-debits that run seamlessly in the background, keeping your cash flow steady.
Note: QuickBooks does not allow third-party providers to embed payment links directly in their invoices. Using Pinch’s Invoice Issued feature is the most reliable way to ensure your customers can pay quickly and securely.
Getting started
-
Enable the “Invoice Issued” feature in your Pinch settings.
- Add your QuickBooks Pay Now Link to your QuickBooks invoice email template.
-
Once enabled, Pinch will automatically send payment notifications for any approved but unpaid invoices in QuickBooks.
-
If you don’t want a customer to receive an email just yet, simply unapprove the invoice in QuickBooks before switching this feature on.

Thousands of Australian businesses already rely on Pinch to simplify their payments. They tell us that Pinch helps them:
