Document Checklist. Confirm your application is Complete!

Have you...
Uploaded ID's  for all individuals with 25%+ ownership or control?
Drivers license or a Passport with a recent utility
Provided a complete, dated bank statement with at least one month of transactions?
From an Australian or NZ bank - Not a FX facility
Uploaded your ABN/ACN certificate or association registration?
Included your trust deed if operating under a trust or if any owner holds their shares non beneficially?

 

Setting up your Pinch account is the first step to faster payments and better cash flow. To make sure your application is processed smoothly and without delays, follow this quick checklist.

🔒 Pinch is a regulated payment provider. That means we need to verify some key details before activating your account. This keeps your business, your customers, and our platform secure.


✅ What You Need to Submit

🏢 1. Business Details

  • Registered name of your business or organisation

  • Contact details

  • A short description of what your business does (e.g. professional services, not-for-profit, trades)

💰 2. Financial Profile

  • Typical transaction size

  • Expected monthly processing volume

  • Types of payments you'll be collecting

🧍 3. Authorised Representative & Key Individuals

  • Details of at least one authorised individual (Director, Trustee, or Responsible Person)

  • Photo ID for any individual who owns or controls 25% or more of the business:

    • Clear photo of both sides of a Driver’s Licence or Passport

    • If uploading a passport, also include a recent utility bill showing address

  • If you're unsure whether someone meets the 25% threshold, include their ID to avoid delays

🧾 4. Required Documentation

📃 Bank Statement
  • Must be dated within the last 3 months

  • Should show at least 1 full month of transactions

  • Must match the business or trust name

  • Upload all pages; summaries not accepted

  • If unavailable, provide a bank-issued account confirmation letter

🗂️ Business or Organisation Registration
  • Companies: ABN/ACN registration certificate

  • Associations/Charities: Certificate of Incorporation or equivalent

  • Sole Traders: ABN certificate

💼 Trust Deed (if applicable)
  • Upload trust deed if your business operates through a trust

  • You may upload more than one if multiple parties own shares non-beneficially

📒 Meeting Minutes or Governance Document (for NFPs or associations)
  • Confirms the roles of Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary, etc.

  • Helps identify who is authorised to act on behalf of the organisation
