Xero: Manual Reconciliation

How to manually reconcile settlement transactions in Xero when automatic reconciliation does not occur.

If a settlement transaction is not automatically reconciled in Xero, you can manually match it to the correct invoice.

  1. In Xero, navigate to the bank account where you receive your settlements.
  2. Locate the bank statement line that requires reconciliation.
  3. Select Find & Match.
  4. Search for the applicable invoice or transaction.
  5. Select the matching invoice and complete the reconciliation.

Notes

  • Ensure the settlement amount matches the invoice amount before reconciling.
  • If the invoice does not appear, confirm it has been approved and is still outstanding in Xero.
  • You can select multiple invoices if the settlement relates to more than one payment.
