By default, your Statement descriptor is pre-set by Pinch to your business name. However, it can be changed, and it is often recommended that a more informative name be used to help your clients know who debited them.
If you wish to change your statement descriptor, please raise a support request to support@getpinch.com.au
There are some restrictions on what can and can't be included in a statement descriptor. Descriptors are 24 characters long and always include PINCHAU, followed by your descriptor default or custom descriptor.
1. 16 Character max length (This includes spaces)
2. PINCHAU takes up the first 8 characters, with the following 16 being custom.
3. No offensive words or acronyms
